Capturing the essence of a situation, be it through professional photojournalism on social issues, or through artistic interpretation, allows us to engage and communicate our vision.

The Judge
MUSTAFAH ABDULAZIZ
Born in New York City, Mustafah Abdulaziz is an award-winning American photographer who has spent the last seven years exploring and documenting the world’s relationship to water.
This on-going project works in collaboration with various partners, from the NGOs WaterAid and WWF, to grants from the Alicia Patterson Foundation and commissions from the United Nations and Google. “These photographs are a mirror for how we behave with the natural world: it is as much a documentation of our most precious resource as it is commentary on how our needs, desires and aspirations are shaping our future.”
Presented and exhibited widely, Mustafah was the first contract photographer for The Wall Street Journal. Over years of professional experience his images have been published in The New York Times, Monocle, Newsweek, Le Monde, Mother Jones, Telegraph Magazine, and The New Yorker.
